Mostly Podcast Ramble
Good morning friends, I am rather sleepy this morning and I haven’t done a good ramble in a while so here’s a ten minute ramble for your midweek blog post. I almost said podcast. I’ve been trying to catch up on my podcasts, I should listen to them more. I haven’t been driving around as much I guess because that’s when I listen to my podcasts and I currently am behind in almost all of them, except the ones that only update every other week, those I’m good on, but I also make it a point to listen to them first because I get really excited when they come out with a new episode.
I learned all about knitting last week and the history of it. I meant to post the episode to my aunts all, I really should do that, she’s super into knitting and I think she’d find it interesting. I also like knitting, but I haven’t knitted in a long time actually. I’ve been trying out lace making for a friend’s wedding and I really should get on making the samples for her since she’s supposed to be in town next weekend for a convention. I also need to text her or something to see when she’s coming in and how long she’s staying and all that. I imagine she’ll be going back Sunday night since the convention ends Sunday and normal people work and stuff, but she might come in Thursday since it starts on Friday and it’d be cool to meet up with her outside of con-madness if possible.
I was thinking about something else podcast related and I can’t remember what it was. Something to do with Stuff You Missed in History Class, which I am actually most behind in since it updates most frequently. I didn’t get through all of them on my drive yesterday but I did finish catching up on Sawbones, I think, and I listened to The Memory Palace and one episode of Missed in History and an episode of Still Buffering and half an episode of Shmanners, which I’ll need to finish eventually.
I really should call my doctor’s office today. I had an appointment back in like December that they just sent me the whole bill for because my insurance is pretty incompetent. Seriously, every time I go to the doctor or MedExpress or anywhere I have to call them and remind them that I am covered and they need to resubmit the claims so that they can manually put it through, apparently, because their system is messed up somehow. This is like the third time I’ve had to call them this month. Anyway, I dealt with the insurance, but I still need to call the doctors office to tell them that I did that and ask if they’re going to send me another bill. Or I could just wait for the bill for my co-pay and hope they’re not super mad that the payment is over due. In my defense, though, I didn’t get the bill until it was already overdue anyway, so there’s that.
